This year, the Cedar Livestock & Heritage Festival is proud to feature the painting "Into the Mist" by local artist Dixon Leavitt.     Dixon believes that art is at its best when it transcends our daily existence and fills us with light. His previous publications include works in “An Angel to Watch over Me,” by Sally DeFord, and “My Dear Sisters,” by Gordon B. Hinckley. Dixon has also published illustrations in the LDS publication Ensign. He grew up, in Cedar City, Utah and currently lives there with his wife and family.
